Lockable Checkout Barrier with Base – High Model, Chrome Plated Steel, Extendable Gate Arm, Left or Right Hand

A proven loss-prevention barrier for the checkout area, helping to make shoplifting via unstaffed checkouts considerably more difficult.

Clear signals and a robust barrier regulate the flow of customers so they can only leave the store via staffed tills. The barrier is available in both left-hand and right-hand versions.

It is made from sturdy steel tube with a high-gloss chrome-plated finish. A plastic info sign with "No Entry" symbols printed on both sides and a protection profile are fitted as standard, and the lock is integrated in a plastic housing. Once unlocked, the gate can be pivoted in either direction and locks in the 90° open position. The pull-out gate extends to cover a range of gangway widths.

The optimum installation position is at the start of the checkout conveyor belt; with a customer guidance system, other positions are also possible.
