A high-performance 80mm braked swivel plate castor with a black elastic rubber tyre on a strong nylon centre, rated to 150kg.

Built for industrial and commercial environments, the durable black elastic rubber tyre delivers excellent load-bearing performance, reduced rolling resistance and superior floor protection. A smooth roller bearing gives reliable, easy movement.

The braked swivel mechanism allows controlled movement and secure positioning when needed. The zinc-plated pressed steel bracket gives long-lasting strength and corrosion resistance, and the standard 105 x 80mm mounting plate with 80 x 60mm hole centres offers quick installation and wide compatibility.

Castor questions, answered

How much load capacity do I need per castor?

Add up the weight of the trolley plus its heaviest load, then divide by three rather than four. On uneven floors one castor is often off the ground, so this gives you a safe margin.

How do I measure a top plate castor?

Measure the top plate (length × width), the distance between the bolt hole centres, and the overall height from the floor to the top of the plate. Match these to the sizes in the listing so the new castor fits your existing holes and keeps the trolley level.

Swivel, braked or fixed — which should I choose?

Swivel castors turn in any direction, fixed castors only roll straight, and braked castors can be locked in place. Many trolleys use two fixed castors at one end with two swivel or braked swivel castors at the other for easy steering.

Can I order in bulk?

Yes. For larger quantities or a fleet of trolleys, send us the items and quantities through the bulk quote form and we'll come back to you with a quote.
