A compact 50mm fixed (rigid) plate castor with a durable white nylon wheel, rated to 40kg for light-duty use.

The hard nylon wheel offers low rolling resistance and excellent wear resistance, and stands up to moisture, chemicals and frequent use for long-lasting performance in commercial and workplace environments. A pressed steel, zinc-plated bracket provides strength and reliability day to day.

As a rigid castor it gives stable, straight-line movement, and works best paired with swivel castors for controlled handling. The standard plate fixing makes installation easy, giving a reliable, cost-effective solution for light loads.

Castor questions, answered

How much load capacity do I need per castor?

Add up the weight of the trolley plus its heaviest load, then divide by three rather than four. On uneven floors one castor is often off the ground, so this gives you a safe margin.

How do I measure a top plate castor?

Measure the top plate (length × width), the distance between the bolt hole centres, and the overall height from the floor to the top of the plate. Match these to the sizes in the listing so the new castor fits your existing holes and keeps the trolley level.

Swivel, braked or fixed — which should I choose?

Swivel castors turn in any direction, fixed castors only roll straight, and braked castors can be locked in place. Many trolleys use two fixed castors at one end with two swivel or braked swivel castors at the other for easy steering.

Can I order in bulk?

Yes. For larger quantities or a fleet of trolleys, send us the items and quantities through the bulk quote form and we'll come back to you with a quote.
