A heavy-duty 260mm swivel castor with a fabricated zinc-plated steel bracket and a black puncture-proof microcellular tyre, rated to 120kg.

Designed for demanding industrial and commercial use, this castor pairs a black microcellular tyre with a red nylon centre and smooth-running roller bearing for good manoeuvrability, durability and rolling performance. The robust fabricated bracket adds strength and reliability across a wide range of material handling tasks.

The large wheel and heavy tread pattern give enhanced grip and shock absorption, and the puncture-proof tyre moves smoothly over uneven surfaces without the risk of flats.

Castor questions, answered

How much load capacity do I need per castor?

Add up the weight of the trolley plus its heaviest load, then divide by three rather than four. On uneven floors one castor is often off the ground, so this gives you a safe margin.

How do I measure a top plate castor?

Measure the top plate (length × width), the distance between the bolt hole centres, and the overall height from the floor to the top of the plate. Match these to the sizes in the listing so the new castor fits your existing holes and keeps the trolley level.

Swivel, braked or fixed — which should I choose?

Swivel castors turn in any direction, fixed castors only roll straight, and braked castors can be locked in place. Many trolleys use two fixed castors at one end with two swivel or braked swivel castors at the other for easy steering.

Can I order in bulk?

Yes. For larger quantities or a fleet of trolleys, send us the items and quantities through the bulk quote form and we'll come back to you with a quote.
