Not sure this is the right castor?
Tell us your load, floor and fixing — a castor specialist will confirm the right fit before you order.
A heavy-duty 260mm fixed (rigid) plate castor with a puncture-proof black microcellular tyre in a heavy tread pattern, rated to 120kg.
For controlled, straight-line movement, this rigid castor combines a heavy tread black tyre, red nylon centre and smooth-running roller bearing to give good traction, stability and long-lasting performance. A strong zinc-plated pressed steel bracket suits demanding industrial and commercial environments.
It works reliably on indoor and outdoor surfaces: the large wheel diameter helps overcome uneven ground and obstacles, and the microcellular tyre absorbs shock without any risk of punctures.

Castor questions, answered
How much load capacity do I need per castor?
Add up the weight of the trolley plus its heaviest load, then divide by three rather than four. On uneven floors one castor is often off the ground, so this gives you a safe margin.
How do I measure a top plate castor?
Measure the top plate (length × width), the distance between the bolt hole centres, and the overall height from the floor to the top of the plate. Match these to the sizes in the listing so the new castor fits your existing holes and keeps the trolley level.
Swivel, braked or fixed — which should I choose?
Swivel castors turn in any direction, fixed castors only roll straight, and braked castors can be locked in place. Many trolleys use two fixed castors at one end with two swivel or braked swivel castors at the other for easy steering.
Can I order in bulk?
Yes. For larger quantities or a fleet of trolleys, send us the items and quantities through the bulk quote form and we'll come back to you with a quote.
