A heavy-duty 200mm fixed plate castor with a polyurethane tyre bonded to a cast iron centre, running on ball bearings and rated to 600kg.

This castor bonds a durable polyurethane tyre to a robust cast iron centre for exceptional strength. Precision ball bearings and a zinc-plated pressed steel bracket deliver smooth rolling, excellent wear resistance and reliable operation in demanding material handling applications.

The fixed design ensures dependable straight-line movement under substantial loads. The polyurethane tread helps protect floors, reduce operational noise and resist abrasion, while the cast iron centre adds superior durability.

Castor questions, answered

How much load capacity do I need per castor?

Add up the weight of the trolley plus its heaviest load, then divide by three rather than four. On uneven floors one castor is often off the ground, so this gives you a safe margin.

How do I measure a top plate castor?

Measure the top plate (length × width), the distance between the bolt hole centres, and the overall height from the floor to the top of the plate. Match these to the sizes in the listing so the new castor fits your existing holes and keeps the trolley level.

Swivel, braked or fixed — which should I choose?

Swivel castors turn in any direction, fixed castors only roll straight, and braked castors can be locked in place. Many trolleys use two fixed castors at one end with two swivel or braked swivel castors at the other for easy steering.

Can I order in bulk?

Yes. For larger quantities or a fleet of trolleys, send us the items and quantities through the bulk quote form and we'll come back to you with a quote.
