A 200mm extra heavy-duty fixed plate castor with a solid cast iron wheel and precision ball bearings, rated to an impressive 1100kg.

Engineered for the most demanding industrial applications, this castor is designed to withstand extreme loads and harsh operating environments. Its solid cast iron construction provides outstanding strength and reliability for continuous heavy-duty use, and the heavy-duty fabricated zinc-plated steel bracket adds exceptional durability.

The cast iron wheel is particularly suited to environments where maximum load-carrying capacity and resistance to wear are essential. The fixed plate gives excellent straight-line stability, and the towable design suits demanding industrial, engineering and commercial operations.

Castor questions, answered

How much load capacity do I need per castor?

Add up the weight of the trolley plus its heaviest load, then divide by three rather than four. On uneven floors one castor is often off the ground, so this gives you a safe margin.

How do I measure a top plate castor?

Measure the top plate (length × width), the distance between the bolt hole centres, and the overall height from the floor to the top of the plate. Match these to the sizes in the listing so the new castor fits your existing holes and keeps the trolley level.

Swivel, braked or fixed — which should I choose?

Swivel castors turn in any direction, fixed castors only roll straight, and braked castors can be locked in place. Many trolleys use two fixed castors at one end with two swivel or braked swivel castors at the other for easy steering.

Can I order in bulk?

Yes. For larger quantities or a fleet of trolleys, send us the items and quantities through the bulk quote form and we'll come back to you with a quote.
