A heavy-duty 160mm fixed plate castor with a polyurethane tyre, robust aluminium centre and precision ball bearing, rated to 600kg.
Designed for demanding industrial and commercial applications, this castor offers excellent resistance to wear, abrasion and many industrial contaminants. It provides smooth, efficient movement with low rolling resistance and helps protect floor surfaces, while the polyurethane tyre combines strength, durability and quiet operation.
The aluminium centre helps maintain excellent performance under heavy loads, and the strong zinc-plated pressed steel bracket ensures long-lasting durability in high-use environments. The fixed design gives reliable straight-line travel and enhanced load stability.

Castor questions, answered
How much load capacity do I need per castor?
Add up the weight of the trolley plus its heaviest load, then divide by three rather than four. On uneven floors one castor is often off the ground, so this gives you a safe margin.
How do I measure a top plate castor?
Measure the top plate (length × width), the distance between the bolt hole centres, and the overall height from the floor to the top of the plate. Match these to the sizes in the listing so the new castor fits your existing holes and keeps the trolley level.
Swivel, braked or fixed — which should I choose?
Swivel castors turn in any direction, fixed castors only roll straight, and braked castors can be locked in place. Many trolleys use two fixed castors at one end with two swivel or braked swivel castors at the other for easy steering.
Can I order in bulk?
Yes. For larger quantities or a fleet of trolleys, send us the items and quantities through the bulk quote form and we'll come back to you with a quote.
