A heavy-duty 160mm anti-static fixed plate castor with a grey non-marking polyurethane tyre on a nylon centre, rated to 400kg.

This castor pairs a grey non-marking polyurethane tyre with a durable nylon centre for smooth, reliable movement. Ball bearings and thread guards give excellent rolling performance, floor protection and wear resistance in demanding environments where static control is essential.

It helps reduce electrostatic discharge while maintaining excellent manoeuvrability and durability, and the fixed plate design provides dependable straight-line travel for heavy-duty material handling.

Castor questions, answered

How much load capacity do I need per castor?

Add up the weight of the trolley plus its heaviest load, then divide by three rather than four. On uneven floors one castor is often off the ground, so this gives you a safe margin.

When do I need an anti-static castor?

Anti-static castors help carry static charge away from a trolley or piece of equipment. They are used where static build-up could damage electronics or cause discomfort, such as electronics assembly, labs and some healthcare settings.

Swivel, braked or fixed — which should I choose?

Swivel castors turn in any direction, fixed castors only roll straight, and braked castors can be locked in place. Many trolleys use two fixed castors at one end with two swivel or braked swivel castors at the other for easy steering.

Can I order in bulk?

Yes. For larger quantities or a fleet of trolleys, send us the items and quantities through the bulk quote form and we'll come back to you with a quote.
