Not sure this is the right castor?

Tell us your load, floor and fixing — a castor specialist will confirm the right fit before you order.

A hard-wearing 150mm fixed plate castor with a red polyurethane tyre on a grey nylon centre and a smooth-running roller bearing, rated to 350kg.

A reliable choice for industrial and commercial material handling, this castor gives excellent wear resistance, low rolling resistance and enhanced floor protection. The polyurethane tyre resists abrasion, oils and industrial wear, and runs more quietly than traditional hard wheels.

The strong zinc-plated pressed steel bracket provides long-lasting durability and corrosion resistance, while the fixed design gives excellent straight-line tracking and stability when transporting loads.

Castor questions, answered

How much load capacity do I need per castor?

Add up the weight of the trolley plus its heaviest load, then divide by three rather than four. On uneven floors one castor is often off the ground, so this gives you a safe margin.

How do I measure a top plate castor?

Measure the top plate (length × width), the distance between the bolt hole centres, and the overall height from the floor to the top of the plate. Match these to the sizes in the listing so the new castor fits your existing holes and keeps the trolley level.

Swivel, braked or fixed — which should I choose?

Swivel castors turn in any direction, fixed castors only roll straight, and braked castors can be locked in place. Many trolleys use two fixed castors at one end with two swivel or braked swivel castors at the other for easy steering.

Can I order in bulk?

Yes. For larger quantities or a fleet of trolleys, send us the items and quantities through the bulk quote form and we'll come back to you with a quote.
