A heavy-duty 125mm fixed plate castor with a red polyurethane tyre, built for straight-line movement and rated to 200kg.

The premium polyurethane (PU) tyre is bonded to a strong polypropylene core, combining strength with floor protection. Compared with traditional rubber, polyurethane offers higher wear resistance, lower rolling resistance and better load-bearing performance, while running smoothly and quietly without marking floors.

The fixed (rigid) design gives excellent directional stability where swivel movement is not needed. A precision bearing ensures efficient rolling with less effort, and the pressed steel, zinc-plated bracket resists corrosion and long-term wear in industrial and commercial environments. The standard 105 x 80mm top plate with 80 x 60mm hole centres allows quick, easy fitting.

Castor questions, answered

How much load capacity do I need per castor?

Add up the weight of the trolley plus its heaviest load, then divide by three rather than four. On uneven floors one castor is often off the ground, so this gives you a safe margin.

How do I measure a top plate castor?

Measure the top plate (length × width), the distance between the bolt hole centres, and the overall height from the floor to the top of the plate. Match these to the sizes in the listing so the new castor fits your existing holes and keeps the trolley level.

Swivel, braked or fixed — which should I choose?

Swivel castors turn in any direction, fixed castors only roll straight, and braked castors can be locked in place. Many trolleys use two fixed castors at one end with two swivel or braked swivel castors at the other for easy steering.

Can I order in bulk?

Yes. For larger quantities or a fleet of trolleys, send us the items and quantities through the bulk quote form and we'll come back to you with a quote.
