A high-performance heavy-duty 125mm fixed plate castor with a black elastic rubber tyre on a robust nylon centre, rated to 200kg.

The resilient elastic rubber tyre is bonded to a nylon centre, offering excellent shock absorption with strength under load. The tread reduces vibration and noise while protecting floor surfaces, and a roller bearing gives smooth rolling and less effort when moving loads.

The fixed (rigid) design ensures straight-line stability and precise directional control where consistent tracking is essential. A pressed steel bracket with a zinc-plated finish resists corrosion and long-term wear in high-usage environments. The standard 105 x 80mm mounting plate with 80 x 60mm hole centres suits a wide range of equipment.

Castor questions, answered

How much load capacity do I need per castor?

Add up the weight of the trolley plus its heaviest load, then divide by three rather than four. On uneven floors one castor is often off the ground, so this gives you a safe margin.

How do I measure a top plate castor?

Measure the top plate (length × width), the distance between the bolt hole centres, and the overall height from the floor to the top of the plate. Match these to the sizes in the listing so the new castor fits your existing holes and keeps the trolley level.

Swivel, braked or fixed — which should I choose?

Swivel castors turn in any direction, fixed castors only roll straight, and braked castors can be locked in place. Many trolleys use two fixed castors at one end with two swivel or braked swivel castors at the other for easy steering.

Can I order in bulk?

Yes. For larger quantities or a fleet of trolleys, send us the items and quantities through the bulk quote form and we'll come back to you with a quote.
