A 125mm anti-static braked swivel bolt hole castor with a grey, non-marking thermoplastic rubber (TPR) tyre and a ball bearing, rated to 100kg.

The anti-static tyre runs on a polypropylene centre, helping to control static build-up while its non-marking grey tread protects floor surfaces. A ball bearing gives smooth rolling, and the brake holds equipment in place when stationary. The castor mounts through a single M12 bolt hole on a pressed steel, zinc-plated bracket, and a bolt hole reducer option is available.

Castor questions, answered

How much load capacity do I need per castor?

Add up the weight of the trolley plus its heaviest load, then divide by three rather than four. On uneven floors one castor is often off the ground, so this gives you a safe margin.

When do I need an anti-static castor?

Anti-static castors help carry static charge away from a trolley or piece of equipment. They are used where static build-up could damage electronics or cause discomfort, such as electronics assembly, labs and some healthcare settings.

Swivel, braked or fixed — which should I choose?

Swivel castors turn in any direction, fixed castors only roll straight, and braked castors can be locked in place. Many trolleys use two fixed castors at one end with two swivel or braked swivel castors at the other for easy steering.

Can I order in bulk?

Yes. For larger quantities or a fleet of trolleys, send us the items and quantities through the bulk quote form and we'll come back to you with a quote.
