A 100mm fixed (rigid) plate castor with a high-performance red polyurethane tyre on a strong nylon centre, running on a roller bearing and rated to 220kg.

Built for medium to heavy-duty use, the polyurethane tyre offers excellent abrasion resistance, smooth rolling and reliable floor protection, while the roller bearing keeps rolling resistance low under load, even in demanding environments. The robust pressed steel, zinc-plated bracket ensures long-lasting strength.

As a rigid castor it provides stable, straight-line movement, ideal for controlled transport when paired with swivel castors. A standard plate fitting makes installation easy.

Castor questions, answered

How much load capacity do I need per castor?

Add up the weight of the trolley plus its heaviest load, then divide by three rather than four. On uneven floors one castor is often off the ground, so this gives you a safe margin.

How do I measure a top plate castor?

Measure the top plate (length × width), the distance between the bolt hole centres, and the overall height from the floor to the top of the plate. Match these to the sizes in the listing so the new castor fits your existing holes and keeps the trolley level.

Swivel, braked or fixed — which should I choose?

Swivel castors turn in any direction, fixed castors only roll straight, and braked castors can be locked in place. Many trolleys use two fixed castors at one end with two swivel or braked swivel castors at the other for easy steering.

Can I order in bulk?

Yes. For larger quantities or a fleet of trolleys, send us the items and quantities through the bulk quote form and we'll come back to you with a quote.
