A heavy-duty 100mm braked swivel plate castor with a non-marking polyurethane tyre on a cast iron centre and precision ball bearing, rated to 250kg.

Engineered for industrial use, the high-performance polyurethane tyre and durable cast iron centre give excellent load-bearing strength with smooth, low-resistance movement. The non-marking tread protects flooring while reducing noise and vibration.

The integrated brake ensures secure positioning, and the zinc-plated pressed steel bracket with precision ball bearing provides reliable durability and effortless manoeuvrability. A standard mounting plate allows quick installation.

Castor questions, answered

How much load capacity do I need per castor?

Add up the weight of the trolley plus its heaviest load, then divide by three rather than four. On uneven floors one castor is often off the ground, so this gives you a safe margin.

How do I measure a top plate castor?

Measure the top plate (length × width), the distance between the bolt hole centres, and the overall height from the floor to the top of the plate. Match these to the sizes in the listing so the new castor fits your existing holes and keeps the trolley level.

Swivel, braked or fixed — which should I choose?

Swivel castors turn in any direction, fixed castors only roll straight, and braked castors can be locked in place. Many trolleys use two fixed castors at one end with two swivel or braked swivel castors at the other for easy steering.

Can I order in bulk?

Yes. For larger quantities or a fleet of trolleys, send us the items and quantities through the bulk quote form and we'll come back to you with a quote.
