Not sure this is the right castor?
Tell us your load, floor and fixing — a castor specialist will confirm the right fit before you order.
A heavy-duty 100mm braked swivel plate castor with a polyurethane tyre on a robust cast iron centre, rated to 250kg.
The polyurethane tyre provides excellent abrasion resistance, smooth rolling and floor protection, while the cast iron core adds exceptional strength and durability. A ball bearing ensures low rolling resistance and smooth manoeuvring under load, even in demanding environments.
The integrated brake secures equipment in place for safe operation when stationary. A strong pressed steel bracket and precision components deliver reliable, long-lasting performance in industrial use.

Castor questions, answered
How much load capacity do I need per castor?
Add up the weight of the trolley plus its heaviest load, then divide by three rather than four. On uneven floors one castor is often off the ground, so this gives you a safe margin.
How do I measure a top plate castor?
Measure the top plate (length × width), the distance between the bolt hole centres, and the overall height from the floor to the top of the plate. Match these to the sizes in the listing so the new castor fits your existing holes and keeps the trolley level.
Swivel, braked or fixed — which should I choose?
Swivel castors turn in any direction, fixed castors only roll straight, and braked castors can be locked in place. Many trolleys use two fixed castors at one end with two swivel or braked swivel castors at the other for easy steering.
Can I order in bulk?
Yes. For larger quantities or a fleet of trolleys, send us the items and quantities through the bulk quote form and we'll come back to you with a quote.
