A 100mm braked swivel plate castor with a blue elastic rubber tyre, robust nylon centre and roller bearing, rated to 200kg.

Built for demanding industrial and commercial applications, this castor provides smooth mobility and secure braking. Blue thread guards are fitted, and the elastic rubber tyre gives good shock absorption and reduced noise, helping to protect floors and transported goods from vibration.

Good manoeuvrability is paired with a wheel brake that keeps equipment securely in place when stationary – ideal for medium to heavy-duty material handling where mobility and stability are both required.

Castor questions, answered

How much load capacity do I need per castor?

Add up the weight of the trolley plus its heaviest load, then divide by three rather than four. On uneven floors one castor is often off the ground, so this gives you a safe margin.

How do I measure a top plate castor?

Measure the top plate (length × width), the distance between the bolt hole centres, and the overall height from the floor to the top of the plate. Match these to the sizes in the listing so the new castor fits your existing holes and keeps the trolley level.

Swivel, braked or fixed — which should I choose?

Swivel castors turn in any direction, fixed castors only roll straight, and braked castors can be locked in place. Many trolleys use two fixed castors at one end with two swivel or braked swivel castors at the other for easy steering.

Can I order in bulk?

Yes. For larger quantities or a fleet of trolleys, send us the items and quantities through the bulk quote form and we'll come back to you with a quote.
