How does the brake mechanism work?

This castor features a directional brake that locks the wheel rotation when engaged via the foot pedal. Press down to lock the wheel in place, preventing rolling movement. The swivel function remains active, allowing the castor to rotate. To release, simply lift the brake pedal with your foot.

What fixings do I need to install these castors?
